The result from the flexi rod set came out looking flawless. That kind of flawless result doesn’t happen all the time to everyone. From the video, she started out with dry hair rather than wet, and for some hair type that’s the key if you’re looking to get great result like in the video. Some hair textures do better with flexirods when they’re wet and others when they’re dry so this means you have to experiment with your hair type.
Using flexi rods for styling gives that curly, fun, flirty hairstyle look. We all want those bouncy curls hanging off our head, and for that, flexirods are great option. They don’t involve any heat so there is no chance of hair damage. They look amazing whether they’re on relaxed or natural hair.
There are many tutorials out there on how to apply flexirod sets. This videos caught my attention for couple of reasons: One – it’s Whitney from naptural85, and second – she did it on dry hair, which is a technique that I haven’t tried it. What remain to be seen is whether this will work on my hair or not…Lol. I’ll let you know if disaster ensues.
This video is for those that have thick, frizzy hair type. If you have tried flexirods in the past and didn’t like the result you owe it to yourself to give this one a try. Whitney uses hair chalk to create natural looking highlights in her hair. I personally like the highlight I think it looks great. What are your thoughts? Will you give this a try?
