How to Wash a Toddler’s Natural Hair?

What a cutie… She’s so adorable. I’ve seen this question being posed many times, how often should you wash kid’s hair? It’s a great question, but there is not one answer that will satisfy everyone. It’s based on a number of factors, like your schedule and your patience level. My personal recommendation is to apply shampoo and conditioner every couple of weeks. Follow the routines in the video above for more details.

Doing a toddler’s hair is not easy. I can understand the reluctance of not wanting to wash their hair on a regular basis. One things for sure, kids are very sensitive to the touch, which means washing and styling can be a mother’s worst nightmare. Everyone deals with the frustrations that come with washing children’s hair differently. As you can see, for this video a bribe had to be offered in order for her mom to continue. I can attest to when I do my daughter’s hair how difficult it used to be.

The most important thing to remember when doing their hair is the acknowledgement that they will grow up having healthy, wholesome, and gorgeous hair, that doesn’t contain any questionable chemicals. They will grow up thanking you for it, trust me! We just have to exercise patience; first toward ourselves then it will invitably show through when we are doing their hair.
