As naturals, spending a day at the beach is not about mightily trying to avoid the water. Those days are over. But, you still don’t want your hair to absorb the chlorine in the water, though. There are simple method to follow when swimming with natural hair.
This is way too cute not to post. I love these girls, they are so freaking cute! Summer is the time for a good and pleasant relaxing swim at the beach or the pool, or just splashing water in each other’s faces. Even as naturals, we still need protection from the chlorinated water.
This video is about how to protect your kid’s hair when going to the beach. It’s not just how to protect your little one’s hair, but also how to protect your natural hair as well. I used this technique all the time in mine and my daughter’s hair. The coconut oil and conditioner will help seal in the moisture that’s already in there which will keep your hair from soaking up too much of the pool water.
After your outing at the beach you just need to shampoo and rinse your hair. I can’t get over how beautiful and gorgeous these girls are. What are your plan for the summer?
