This is a twist cornrow that was done on a cute little girl. There are so many reasons why you should do cornrows for kids natural hairstyle. They look great and it’s a joy to not have to worry about hair everyday. I know for me, as a mother, it’s great time saver.

The style turned out very cute, however, IMO, some of the braids were a bit too tight at the root, as was evidenced by the way that the little girl tugged at the root of the first braid, and the fact that you can actually see the scalp being “stressed” on some of the braids. That kind of pulling could cause permanent damage to the hair follicles. Very cute style thoug!

  2. We’re on agreement about how cute the hairstyle is, and I also agree with you about the tightness of the braids and the long term hair damage. Obviously, If you are doing this style or something similar to this then you should used caution and beware of the child’s comfort level. Thank for bringing that up, because it’s an important point.
