We hear and see it. This pandemic has tested our patience. The closing of our favorite hair salons or unable to get an appointment because of social distancing. The stories on the news about our fellow humans not being able to get their hair trim. Grant it, some of these were ridiculous, but we can not let some ridiculousness over-shadow our real needs.
This makes things a bit more confusing for many of us. However, despite all that this pandemic has put us through, the vast majority of our natural hair-care happened and still happens in the comfort of our home. Whether you’re hydrating a twist out, applying Obovata treatment, or following a wash day routine, you can do most if not all of it at home. That’s excellent!
Hopefully, we get out of this soon (get vaccinated), so we won’t have to worry about it for too much longer. But, until then, we can use this time to test various products from the safety of our home to make sure our natural hair stays healthy. Since we have some time because of stay-at-home orders, this is the opportunity to part our hair and wash it with different shampoo and conditioner without the whole world experiencing it, in case things go wrong.
