Fall Protective Dutch Side Braid Hairstyle We Absolutely Love
Great video by Naptural85! Ladies, this is a fun, simple side french braid, it’s the protective natural hairstyle you need to not only protect your hair, but look good while doing it. You see it’s the perfect combination for naturalistas with longer hair.
You have to be pragmatic about your hairstyles. Some styles look good, but they’re not very practical. For instance, the moment the temperature is humid or your hair gets wet it’s going to revert back, which means you have to be wary of how the weather is going to be for that day.
This hairstyle works great and I would suggest you check out the video above to learn how to do it. You see, with regular braiding you have to braid each section over each other. Now with dutch braiding you do the exact opposite, each section is braided under the other. It’s sort of like french braiding except you are going underneath each other. Just keep adding hair while braiding away and under. It gets a little tricky at the end, so you have to follow closely as you bring the hair from the back to the side. Keep in mind, this style may not be for your next board or corporate meeting, but it is a very nice style for a relaxing day at home or running errands.
